Intersection of Safety
and Technology.

At Legacy Technologies, our mission is to innovate at the intersection of safety and technology, creating solutions that protect assets and, more importantly, save lives. Focusing on our Thermal Protection System (TPS-611), we aim to help raise the bar in fire safety across diverse industries, from railroads to protective clothing.

Our commitment is rooted in the belief that advanced technology can and should be harnessed to make the world safer. By continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in thermal protection and fire resistance, we aspire to develop products that offer meaningful safety improvements and peace of mind.

The People Behind TPS-611

Legacy Technologies is built on a partnership between entrepreneurial leadership, decades of materials science expertise, and operational know-how.

Founder
George Beucher

George Beucher, originally from Glenview, Illinois, has a diverse background marked by a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, instilled by his father, a successful rendering business owner in Chicago.

From odd jobs in automotive to volunteer firefighting and running a home painting and remodeling business, George's career took a significant turn when he founded Earth Paints Collection Systems in 2007. The venture grew into a leading paint recycling program in Illinois, earning awards and recognition, including testimony before the Illinois Senate as an industry expert.

After selling the recycling business in 2016, George reunited with Dr. Tom Nosker in 2021 on the Thermal Protection System fire retardant coating project, continuing his focus on innovative, life-saving solutions.

Materials Science
Dr. Tom Nosker

Dr. Tom Nosker is a pioneer in the field of material science, with a career marked by innovation, particularly in recycling technologies and composite materials. As a professor at Rutgers University, he has dedicated decades to developing sustainable solutions to some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges.

Dr. Nosker's notable contributions include the invention of a type of plastic made from recycled paint, which showcases his commitment to sustainability and innovation. Beyond his research, he is known for his role as an educator, mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers.

His latest collaboration involves developing a Thermal Protection System fire coating, a continuation of his commitment to creating technologies that benefit humanity and protect the planet.
